Former Residence of Li Yujin

The former residence of Li Yujin is a cultural tourism attraction.

The former residence of Li Yujin is located in the courtyard of Li Wenlin in Loujiazhuang, Loufan Town, Loufan County, covering a construction area of 81 square meters.

Li Yujin was a native of Loujiazhuang. In 1936, he joined the Sacrifice League. In 1937, he enlisted in the guerrilla forces and was later incorporated into the 358th Brigade of the 120th Division. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1938. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he once served as Deputy Director of the Aerospace Medical Research Institute of the PLA General Armament Department, among other positions. The residence is the place where Li Yujin was born, lived, and grew up. It originally had three cave dwellings; Li Yujin was born in the first one, and the second one served as his living and growing space, which remains well-preserved.

Loujiazhuang Village: Loujiazhuang Village is under the jurisdiction of Loufan Town, Loufan County, and includes two natural villages, Dagedu and Baidaopo. It borders Yao Luo to the east, Baidao to the south, the county seat to the north, and connects with Dafuzhuang to the west, lying less than 1 li from the county town; it is classified as a suburban-type village.

The village currently has 368 farming households, with a total population of 1,648, including 624 laborers. The total land area of the village is 4,100 mu, including 2,963 mu of arable land and 1,072 mu of returned farmland, averaging 1.3 mu of arable land per capita.
