The execution site of Red Army soldiers is located in Huangtugedi, Shanchengmao, Jiulao Village, Loufan Town, Loufan County. In March 1936, the Red Army on the Eastern Expedition entered Loufan from Gujiao. On March 29, the Red Army crossed into Lan County from the north of Loufan. On the same day, the Nationalist Yan Army unit under Fu Cunhuai, which was pursuing the Red Army, arrived in Loufan and began searching for straggling Red Army soldiers and those associated with them. During the retreat, three young Red Army soldiers who had fallen asleep from exhaustion and failed to keep up with the main unit were captured by the Yan Army at Huangtugedi in Loufan Town and subsequently executed.
