Weighing 454 grams and shaped like a small disc, the cheese has a soft texture and a strong flavor. Its pungent taste comes from being washed with whiskey during the aging process. It's worth mentioning that among the Three Musketeers in Alexandre Dumas’ novel, Porthos was particularly fond of this cheese.
