Havana Malecón

The Havana Malecón is a wide seaside boulevard that extends from the harbor street of Old Havana, stretching along the northern shore of the Caribbean Sea and bordering the city center of Havana to the south. Hence the name Havana Malecón. It serves as a place for strolling, romantic walks, sports, dancing, and folk music performances. It is also known as the Malecón Seaside Promenade or the Seaside Walkway. The “23rd Street” in the Vedado district is even more renowned as Cuba’s most famous arts street, where the sidewalks are adorned with representative works by well-known Cuban painters on various granite tiles. As a result, this just 500-meter-long street is exceptionally eye-catching.
