The Troodos Mountains are located in the Nicosia and Larnaca districts of Cyprus, forming the largest mountain range in the country. Mount Olympus, the highest peak, stands at an elevation of 1,952 meters. The range features multiple ski slopes and is the most renowned skiing destination in Cyprus.

The Troodos Mountains are more than just a mountain; they are a culturally rich tourist destination with numerous mountain resorts that provide convenience for visitors. At the mountaintop, there are several churches, the most famous being the Painted Churches in the Troodos Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the finest representation of Byzantine frescoes in Cyprus. The mountain slopes are also dotted with small villages that create a picturesque landscape. Though developed, these villages have retained their traditional style without any damage.
