Introduction to the "Al-Sadd Stadium" Tourist Attraction Al-Sadd Stadium is the oldest stadium in Qatar. The renowned Qatari Al-Sadd Club, which uses this stadium as its home ground, enjoys widespread fame. Established on October 21, 1969, athletes from this club have achieved notable success in football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and handball. In 1988, the Al-Sadd football team became the first Arab team to win the AFC Champions League. Many legendary players, including Pelé and Romário, have played here. To host the Asian Games, both the indoor and outdoor facilities of Al-Sadd Stadium underwent extensive renovation and expansion. Sports hosted here: Football, water polo, sepak takraw, and billiards (-cue sports). Location: Near Al-Waab Street, 6 kilometers southwest of Doha city.
