"Doha Racing & Equestrian Club" Travel Attraction Introduction The Doha Racing & Equestrian Club, featuring a floodlit grass racetrack, is the home of horse racing in Qatar. During the league season, a round of horse races takes place every Thursday, with the season running from October to June of the following year. With years of experience hosting horse racing events, the Doha Racing & Equestrian Club was the obvious choice for the equestrian competitions at the Doha Asian Games. A brand-new equestrian arena, capable of seating 1,050 spectators, was built next to the racetrack along with training grounds, as well as additional stables and veterinary facilities.

Events: The Doha Racing & Equestrian Club hosted the dressage and show jumping events of the equestrian competition at the Doha Asian Games, as well as the dressage and show jumping segments of the three-day eventing competition. The cross-country portion of the three-day eventing took place 6 kilometers south of the club at Sports City. Location: Located on the western edge of Doha, 6 kilometers north of Sports City.
