"Palm Tree Island" Tourist Attractions Introduction   From a distance, it looks like an oasis in the sea, or perhaps just a mirage. The island is situated in the middle of Doha Bay, covering only 25,000 square meters. It is a beautiful man-made island. Covered with palm trees, the island boasts beautiful beaches, water sports equipment, and first-class restaurants. Horse riding, a children’s playground, picnic areas, walking paths, and scenic spots for delicious food are all part of this island, making it a true oasis at sea where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The city’s night view from the island is captivating.   Visitors can reach the island by a boat that resembles a traditional dhow. (Special activities are also organized on the island during holidays.) The island is managed by the Qatar National Hotel, and the ferry departs from the Corniche, near the Sheraton Doha Resort & Convention Hotel. Open all day.
