Cebu City

Cebu City is located on the eastern coast of Cebu Province and is the capital of Cebu Province as well as the second-largest city in the Philippines, after the capital, Manila. As a highly urbanized city, it serves as the economic hub of the Visayas region.

Cebu City enjoys a tropical marine monsoon climate, with pleasant weather and beautiful surroundings, making it a lovely city. It hosted the ASEAN Tourism Forum in 1998 and the East Asia Tourism Forum in 2002. This beautiful coastal city boasts a long history, stunning natural scenery, and unique, rich tourism resources that attract visitors from around the world. It features vast forests, expansive white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, the oldest fort in the Philippines, as well as Fort Pilar which once served as a military base, the historically significant Magellan’s Cross, the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño built in 1565, museums housing rare exhibits, and other famous attractions.
