Introduction to the "Peshawar Museum" as a Tourist Attraction The Peshawar Museum shuts out the hustle and bustle of the street outside, replacing it with solemn tranquility. Inside, the museum is spacious and bright, yet completely empty. The central hall spans two floors, flanked by Islamic-style archways and two other exhibition halls. The exhibition halls house a variety of Buddhist statues collected from temples in the Peshawar region. The museum is eerily quiet, with only the sound of footsteps echoing. Looking around, some statues of Buddhas and bodhisattvas stand taller than life beside the pillars, gazing kindly down at visitors, while others are lost in meditation. In addition, there are rows of busts and heads, brightly colored, with expressions that are either sorrowful or serene.
