Crocker Range National Park

Crocker Range National Park is located in Sabah, Malaysia, near Kota Kinabalu. Established in 1984, it covers an area of 1,399 square kilometers, encompassing much of the Crocker Range, making it the largest national park in Sabah. It was created to protect the rare flora and fauna in this region.

Comprising hills and montane forests, Crocker Range National Park is home to a large number of plant and animal species unique to the state. There are 106 known mammal species, 265 bird species, 52 reptile species, 67 frog species, and 26 freshwater fish species. Endangered mammals include the orangutan, Malayan sun bear, and clouded leopard — lucky visitors may catch a glimpse of them.
