Layang-Layang Island, also known as Danwan Reef or Swallow Island, is located in Sabah, Malaysia. It is a classic long, narrow coral atoll, approximately 7 kilometers in length from east to west and up to 2 kilometers wide from north to south. The atoll covers a water surface area of about 10 square kilometers, making it one of Malaysia's most renowned diving destinations.

With its prime location, pristine coral reefs, exceptional underwater visibility, steep walls that drop to depths of 2000 meters, and views of the open ocean, Layang-Layang Island has earned its reputation as one of the world’s top ten diving spots.
