Pulau Tiga is also known as the "Survival Island" because various species of sea snakes have been found on the island, earning it the more well-known nickname "Snake Island." The small island is located in Sabah, Malaysia, and is one of the few uninhabited islands in the Kimanis Bay on the west coast of Sabah. It was formed due to a volcanic eruption caused by an earthquake.

Pulau Tiga became world-renowned for being the filming location of the reality TV show Survivor. The first season of the American reality series, "Survivor: Borneo," was filmed here, which brought it global fame and made it a popular tourist destination.
