The Puppet Museum is located on the second floor of the Dongchong Arts Center in Dongchong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is a museum that collects and exhibits puppets from around the world.

The Puppet Museum consists of three sections: a permanent exhibition room, a special exhibition room, and an experience room. The puppets in the permanent exhibition room are like a microcosm of various types of puppets from all over the globe. The puppets here are extremely diverse—varying in type, production style, shape, expression, and movement—which can be overwhelming for first-time visitors who may not know where to start. However, the museum categorizes the wide array of puppets, making it easy and clear for visitors to explore. The special exhibition room presents modern interpretations of puppets from different perspectives, and its specially curated exhibitions such as “My Puppet Life: 30 Years” and “Puppet Experience Exhibition” offer unique experiences for visitors.

Aside from viewing, visitors can also immerse themselves in their passion for puppets in the museum’s experience room through educational programs that teach about puppetry. In addition to programs for children and teens, there are also courses designed for adults, allowing everyone to express their own understanding and feelings about puppets.
