Osaka Maritime Museum
The Osaka Maritime Museum is a glass-domed transparent building adjacent to Cosmo Square in Minato-ku. This four-story museum documents Osaka's maritime and shipping history, showcasing a variety of model ships from 17th-century traditional merchant vessels (known as bekkōsen) to futuristic high-tech boats, and offers visitors the chance to experience realistic virtual sailing in a high-tech theater and a simulated cruise.
