The Liguantun Site (Gaoliu Site) is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

The Liguantun Site (Gaoliu Site) dates back to the Han Dynasty and is located in Liguantun Village, Longquan Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Liguantun Site (Gaoliu Site) was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: extends 100 meters outward in all directions from the site’s boundaries.

Longquan Town: Longquan Town is the political, economic, and cultural center of Yanggao. It lies 50 kilometers west of Datong, the “Coal Capital,” and 300 kilometers east of Beijing, the capital city. Major transportation routes such as the Dazhang Highway, Shenfeng Highway, and the Beijing-Baotou Railway run through the town, giving it a unique locational advantage in terms of transport. The town covers a total area of 183.4 square kilometers. It administers 29 administrative villages and 10 neighborhood committees. The total population is 99,860 across 39,711 households, including 13,517 agricultural households with 44,848 people.
