Site of Taishizhuang

The Site of Taishizhuang is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

The Site of Taishizhuang dates back to the Han Dynasty and is located 300 meters southwest of Taishizhuang Village, Longquan Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Site of Taishizhuang was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: extending 100 meters outward in all directions from the boundary of the heritage site itself.

Longquan Town: Longquan Town is the political, economic, and cultural center of Yanggao. It lies 50 kilometers west of Datong, the coal capital, and 300 kilometers east of the capital city, Beijing. It is traversed by the Dazhang Highway, Shenfeng Highway, and the Beijing-Baotou Railway, giving it a unique transportation and geographical advantage. The town covers a total area of 183.4 square kilometers. It administers 29 administrative villages and 10 neighborhood committees. The town has a total of 39,711 households and a population of 99,860, including 13,517 agricultural households with a population of 44,848.
