The Brick Well Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

The Brick Well Site dates back to the Han Dynasty and is located east of Zhuangjing Village, Xiashenjing Township, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Brick Well Site was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: 100 meters outward in all directions from the boundary of the heritage site itself.

Xiashenjing Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Yanggao County. Established as Xiashenjing Commune in 1958 and reorganized as a township in 1984. It is located in the southwest of the county, 30 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 48 square kilometers with a population of 9,000, it administers 18 village committees: Xiabao, Shangbao, Shenjingwa, Sunjiagang, Jiafeng, Guanshang, Jiazhuang, Zhuangjing, Shangdian, Xiadian, Dongtuo, Xituo, Fengrenshan, Xiaobao, Shangshenjing, Dongzhongdian, Xizhongdian, and Dongshuitou.
