The Tenth Qi Ruins

The Tenth Qi Ruins are a cultural heritage protection site of Yanggao County.

The Tenth Qi Ruins date back to the Liao Dynasty and are located 200 meters south of Tenth Qi Village, Dongxiaozhen Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Tenth Qi Ruins were designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection site of Yanggao County.

Protected area: extends 100 meters outward in all directions from the boundary of the heritage site itself.

Dongxiaozhen Town: Located in the central-southern part of Yanggao County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, Dongxiaozhen Town borders Yangyuan County of Hebei Province to the east and Xubu Township of Datong County to the west. The town covers a total area of 101.1 square kilometers, with 46,356 mu of arable land, including 23,805 mu of irrigated land. It administers 17 administrative villages, with a total population of 3,230 households and 10,855 people.

Dongxiaozhen Town has significant locational and transportation advantages. Situated at the junction of two provinces and three counties, it serves as the “southern gateway” for Yanggao County’s opening-up efforts.
