The Site of Shenquan Fort is a cultural relic protection unit of Yanggao County.

The Site of Shenquan Fort dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is located at the old fort of Shenquanbao in Dongxiaozhen Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Site of Shenquan Fort was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: bounded by the fort wall, extending 10 meters outward in all directions. Construction control zone: bounded by the protected area, extending 50 meters outward in all directions.

Dongxiaozhen Town: Located in the central-southern part of Yanggao County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, Dongxiaozhen Town borders Yangyuan County of Hebei Province to the east and Xubu Township of Datong County to the west. The town covers a total area of 101.1 square kilometers, with 46,356 mu of arable land, including 23,805 mu of irrigated land. It administers 17 administrative villages, with a total population of 3,230 households and 10,855 people.

Dongxiaozhen Town enjoys significant locational and transportation advantages.
