Longmen Bridge Culvert

The Longmen Bridge Culvert is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Yanggao County.

The Longmen Bridge Culvert dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is located on the western bank of the Sanggan River in Daxinzhuang Village, Youzai Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Longmen Bridge Culvert was designated as a county-level cultural heritage conservation unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: bounded by the heritage structure itself, extending 10 meters outward in all directions. Construction control zone: bounded by the protected area, extending 50 meters outward in all directions.

Youzai Town: Youzai Town is located at the southernmost tip of the county, backed by the Sanggan River and facing Liuleng Mountain. It is 60 kilometers from the county seat and covers an area of 145 square kilometers. The geology consists of igneous rock, and the alluvial fans at the foot of the mountain include layers of volcanic pumice in some areas, and up to 150-meter-thick gravel layers in others. Starting in 1952 with the construction of the first high-lift irrigation station in Dongcetian Village, the town has developed water conservancy projects, building a total of 19 large and small irrigation stations, over 40 kilometers of seepage-proof canals, and by 1978, irrigated land reached 16,374 mu, accounting for 39% of the arable land area, with grain yield per mu exceeding 100 kilograms.
