The Site of the Ambush Battle at Shenquanbao Bridge is a cultural heritage protection site of Yanggao County.
The Site of the Ambush Battle at Shenquanbao Bridge dates back to 1945 and is located east of Shenquanbao Village, Dongxiaozhen Town, Yanggao County.
On December 25, 2018, the Site of the Ambush Battle at Shenquanbao Bridge was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection site of Yanggao County.
Protected area: extends 10 meters outward from the boundary of the heritage site in all directions. Construction control zone: extends 50 meters outward from the boundary of the protected area in all directions.
Dongxiaozhen Town: Located in the central-southern part of Yanggao County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, Dongxiaozhen Town borders Yangyuan County of Hebei Province to the east and Xubu Township of Datong County to the west. The town covers a total area of 101.1 square kilometers, with 46,356 mu of arable land, including 23,805 mu of irrigated land. It administers 17 administrative villages, with a total population of 3,230 households and 10,855 people.
Dongxiaozhen Town boasts significant locational and transportation advantages.
