The Former Site of Jijiazhuang Cultural Room is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

The Former Site of Jijiazhuang Cultural Room dates back to 1964 and is located in Jijiazhuang Village, Beixutun Township, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Former Site of Jijiazhuang Cultural Room was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected Area: extends 10 meters outward from the boundary of the heritage site itself. Construction Control Zone: extends 50 meters outward from the boundary of the protected area.

Beixutun Township: Beixutun Township is located 10 kilometers east of the county seat, covering an area of 67.2 square kilometers. The township’s 10 villages are situated right in the center of the Yanggao Plain, with the lowest elevation at 1,008 meters and the highest at 1,030 meters. The Bai Deng River flows along the southern side, while the Hei Shui River enters from the northwest and joins the Bai Deng River. The terrain is low-lying with poor drainage, resulting in waterlogged and saline-alkali soil. Much of the land can only support the cultivation of “yellow crops,” yielding no more than a dozen kilograms per mu.
