The Dongfeng High-Lift Pumping Station is a cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

The Dongfeng High-Lift Pumping Station was built in 1966 and is located west of Dongcetian Village, Youzai Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the Dongfeng High-Lift Pumping Station was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: bounded by the heritage structure itself, extending 10 meters outward in all directions. Construction control zone: bounded by the protected area, extending 50 meters outward in all directions.

Youzai Town: Located at the southernmost tip of the county, backed by the Sanggan River and facing the Liuling Mountain, Youzai Town is 60 kilometers from the county seat and covers an area of 145 square kilometers. The geology consists of igneous rock, and the foothills feature alluvial fans—some formed from layers of volcanic pumice following eruptions, others covered with gravel layers up to 150 meters thick. Since the construction of the first high-lift pumping station in Dongcetian Village in 1952, the town has focused on water conservancy projects, building a total of 19 large and small pumping stations, over 40 kilometers of seepage-proof irrigation channels, and by 1978, irrigated land reached 16,374 mu, accounting for 39% of the cultivated area, with grain yield per mu surpassing 100 kilograms.
