The "Never Forget Class Struggle" Monument is a cultural relic protection unit of Yanggao County.

The "Never Forget Class Struggle" Monument dates back to 1963 and is located in Xingjiabu Village, Wangguantun Town, Yanggao County.

On December 25, 2018, the "Never Forget Class Struggle" Monument was designated as a county-level cultural relic protection unit of Yanggao County.

Protected area: extends 10 meters outward from the monument in all directions. Construction control zone: extends 50 meters outward from the protected area in all directions.

Wangguantun Town: Located 15 kilometers southwest of Yanggao, Wangguantun Town borders the Cailiang Mountain to the west and covers an area of 106.3 square kilometers. The average annual temperature is 7°C, the frost-free period lasts 130 days, and the annual rainfall is 430 mm. In spring, the final frost usually occurs on May 15 at the foot of the slopes and slightly later on the upper slopes.

The town mainly consists of sandy, gravelly sloping fields and thin saline-alkali land, resulting in very low crop yields—around 50 kg per mu under normal conditions. Historically, except for a small amount of irrigation from streams in gullies and depressions and some floodwater sedimentation, there were no irrigated fields. The western hills are barren, exposed rocky mountains with little soil and much sand, offering no fertility to the fields but instead contributing to strong winter and spring winds and heavy sand...
