Quarry Bay Park

Quarry Bay Park is a large park in Hong Kong, located along the waterfront of Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island. It covers an area of 9.79 hectares and features a variety of recreational facilities. The park was opened on June 17, 1994, and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The park was completed in two phases, with Phase One being closer to City One and Phase Two closer to Quarry Bay.

Quarry Bay Park was completed in two phases. Phase One, located in the eastern part of the park north of City One, spans across the Island Eastern Corridor and Lei Yue Mun to the Victoria Harbour waterfront. It was opened in June 1994. Phase Two is located in the western part of the park at Hoi Zek Street in Quarry Bay. Additionally, the current vehicle holding area at the exit curve of the Eastern Harbour Tunnel and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department's vehicle depot have been reserved for the development of Phase Two (Phases Two and Three) of the park. Although Quarry Bay Park covers a large area, its facilities are relatively simpler compared to other major parks in Hong Kong. The park includes seven 7-a-side artificial turf soccer fields, basketball courts, children’s playgrounds, jogging paths, cycling tracks, fitness equipment, a seaside park, a tai chi garden, tennis courts, viewing platforms, and snack kiosks.

The park itself is also planted with many different types of plants and has a large green space with numerous flower beds and lawns, making it a great place to get some fresh air.
