Introduction

The park covers an area of 500 hectares, two-thirds of which are covered in forest. Attractions include Lion Rock, Wife Gazing Rock, and the picturesque surrounding hillsides. It's a great spot for those who enjoy outdoor picnics or hiking.

Lion Rock is a famous peak in Hong Kong, located between Kowloon and the New Territories, and is one of the mountains of the Kowloon range. It earned its name due to its shape and appearance, which resemble a lion. With an elevation of 495 meters, Lion Rock can be seen from many places in Kowloon and is a well-known landmark in Hong Kong. Lion Rock is the main feature of Lion Rock Country Park and also the source of the park’s name.
