Snoopy's World

Snoopy's World is a theme park in Hong Kong, located in New Town Plaza shopping mall in Sha Tin New Town, New Territories. It opened in September 2000 and covers an area of approximately 3,670 square meters. Snoopy's World is the first outdoor amusement park in Asia themed around the Snoopy comic strip, and it is also the second such themed park after Los Angeles in the United States.

Snoopy's World features over 60 sculptures of characters from the Belgian Peanuts comic strip, distributed across six themed areas. The first is Snoopy's House, a giant 4.5-meter-tall doghouse with the world’s largest outdoor Snoopy statue lying on its roof (measuring 5.5 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 3.5 meters high), which showcases works by Peanuts fans. The next is the Peanut School, where seven school-uniformed statues play music every 15 minutes on the playground; next to it is a yellow school bus used by American students, which hosts special events every Sunday. The third area is Canoe Adventure, where visitors can take a two-person cartoon-themed raft decorated with main characters and float down an artificial waterway for about three minutes, experiencing scenes such as a Grand Canyon rapids, a wilderness campfire, a World War I European battlefield, Halloween, and a spacewalk.

Additionally, the fourth area is the Softball Playground, suitable for children aged 6–12. The fifth is Peanut Avenue, a long corridor with the charm of a classic American small town, featuring a barber shop, theater, hospital, and bank. The sixth is the Snoopy Rest Corner, where visitors can enjoy their own picnics; on Sundays, a “Friends” children’s musical is specially performed in front of the rest area.
