Yuen Chau Kok Park

Yuen Chau Kok Park (English: Yuen Chau Kok Park) is located in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. It was completed in 1993 and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It is a popular spot for local residents to exercise in the morning. The park was originally a small island called Yuen Chau Kok in Sha Tin Hoi. Due to land reclamation during the development of the Sha Tin New Town, the small island has now become part of the eastern bank of the Shing Mun River.

The park is built around a green belt on a small hill in Yuen Chau Kok, covering an area of 1.42 hectares. The lower part of the park features a pebble walking path, playgrounds, and flowing water scenery. A hiking trail leads to the highest point of the hill, with a viewing pavilion at the mid-level for visitors to rest. The hilltop includes a scenic map and a sundial, while the highest point of the hill houses a trigonometric station operated by the Lands Department.
