Hong Kong Lung Cheung Road Lookout

The Lung Cheung Road Lookout is located on Beacon Hill in the Sham Shui Po District. It offers an excellent vantage point to take in the views of the Kowloon Peninsula and Victoria Harbour. As such, it has long been a popular destination for visitors who come specifically to admire the scenery of Hong Kong. The lookout features a pavilion and is surrounded by lush trees, providing visitors with a comfortable spot to enjoy the panoramic views of Kowloon.

From the lookout, the entire Sham Shui Po District—including elements such as Festival Walk, Shek Kip Mei, and even the West Kowloon Centre—can be seen in full view. You can also gaze at the full expanse of the former Kai Tak Airport, imagining the thrilling sight of planes landing there before the airport was relocated to the new site in July 1998.

Today, although Hong Kong International Airport has moved to Chek Lap Kok, the Lung Cheung Road Lookout remains a favorite scenic spot for many visitors.

The government has also actively improved road traffic in the Lung Cheung Road area, as well as the Route 4 link between the eastern part of the Kowloon Peninsula and the new airport, making it more convenient for visitors to reach the Lung Cheung Road Lookout.
