Donggui Ecological Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism site.

Hejing Donggui Ecological Park is a highlight of the beautiful eco-city of Hejing County, especially known for its diverse cultural activities and song and dance performances that enrich people’s spiritual and cultural life, making it a great leisure destination for residents. Hejing was the main settlement of the Torghut Mongols during the last great migration in human history — their return to the motherland from the Volga River basin, and is honored as the “Hometown of the Eastward Return.” Although 243 years have passed since the Torghuts made their epic journey back to their ancestral land, their glorious traditions of fearlessness, resistance against oppression and exploitation, and pursuit of peace and freedom have never been forgotten. As the homeland of the Eastward Return, Donggui Ecological Park not only preserves and promotes Eastward Return culture, but also allows visitors to be inspired by stories of patriotism at any time, making it a truly educational and entertaining destination.

Attractions Layout:

Donggui Ecological Park is located north of Donggui Avenue and west of Gongnaisi Road in the county seat, covering a total area of 1,268 mu. The park is developed in three phases: Phase I includes the performance square area, Mongolian camp dining area, health and entertainment area, and waterfront recreation area; Phase II features an eco-hotel, villa complex, wedding square, grape estate, and horse racing field; Phase III comprises the Bayinbuluke Theater and Hejing Museum.
