Qike Wusu Stone Forest
Located 120 kilometers west of Bayinbuluke, it is a group of uniquely shaped high-altitude stone forests formed by the Tianshan orogeny 2 million years ago. Nestled in the heart of the Tianshan Mountains at an altitude of 3,202 meters, it stretches approximately 9 kilometers in length and 5 kilometers in width, with a relative height of around 30 meters. It features a semi-cemented aeolian sandstone and gravel layer structure. It is a typical example of yardang landform.
The craftsmanship of nature has sculpted the stone forest into bizarre and diverse shapes. Within the stone forest, there is a solemn and awe-inspiring "Ancient European Castle" and a "Drawn Sword" that pierces the blue sky. The favorable natural conditions have made this area a wildlife paradise, where herds of argali, goitered gazelles, and wild boars roam and thrive.
