Jingping City Site

The Jingping City Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shuozhou City.

The Jingping City Site is located in the northeastern part of Jingping Town, Pingshuo District, dating back to the 21st year of the Chenghua era during the Ming Dynasty (1485).

On March 21, 2011, the Jingping City Site was announced as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Shuozhou City.

Jingping Town: The Party Committee and government of Jingping Town have adopted an overall strategy of “changing concepts to promote water conservation, focusing efforts on building garden fields, using science and technology to upgrade water projects, and constructing a pearl-like landmark to increase benefits.” They have implemented comprehensive agricultural, forestry, and water development, along with the integration of fields, forests, roads, wells, machinery, and electricity. By combining biological and engineering measures, they have developed the high-yield and efficient Beiping Agricultural Park, covering an area of 3,750 mu.
