Shang Heishuigou Site

The Shang Heishuigou Site is a cultural heritage protection unit in Shuozhou City.

The Shang Heishuigou Site is located about 1,500 meters southeast of Shang Heishuigou Village, Baitang Township, Pingshuo District. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. The site spans approximately 250 meters from east to west and 500 meters from north to south.

On March 21, 2011, the Shang Heishuigou Site was designated as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Shuozhou City.

Baitang Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Pingshuo District, Shuozhou City. Established as the Baitang People's Commune in 1958 and became a township in 1984. Located in the southern part of the district, it is 13 kilometers from the district government. Covering an area of 92 square kilometers, it has a population of 10,000. The Muguajie Coal Transportation Railway passes through the township. It administers 18 village committees: Nanshangyao, Baitang, Shiya Bay, Gaojiagou, Matigou, Xi Yi, Dong Yi, Panjiayao, Jiuan Taipu, Shizhuang, Taixi, Shang Heishuigou, Xia Heishuigou, Ma'anshan, Taobuwā, Baxinyao, Dangjiagou, and Qianjin.
