Grassland Divine Stone City is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Grassland Divine Stone City tourist attraction is located in Tuosite Township, Jeminay County, 40 kilometers from downtown Jeminay, within the winter pastures of Tuosite Township. The ridges and slopes of the scenic area are covered with a vast expanse of bizarre rock formations, which were formed through dissolution and wind erosion, creating uniquely shaped rocky landscapes. As you step into the scenic area, you will be deeply awestruck by the spectacular sights before you. Especially noteworthy is a never-drying clear spring nestled halfway up a steep and sheer mountainside, known by local herders as the “Sacred Spring.” The spring water is crystal clear and sweet to the taste, and it is said that drinking it regularly can promote longevity. It has attracted worshippers and sightseers from various ethnic groups as well as large numbers of tourists who come here specifically to admire this wonder.

The Grassland Divine Stone City features large-scale groupings and individual rock formations, with excellent continuity. The stones come in all shapes and sizes, making it one of China’s more outstanding natural landscape types related to sedimentation and tectonics. Entering the Grassland Divine Stone City means stepping into a “world of figures” and an “ocean of animals.” In this scenic area, such extraordinary rock formations are everywhere, with imaginative rock formations resembling humans and animals dotting the landscape—both strikingly lifelike and abstract in form. According to incomplete statistics, there are as many as 17 types of animal-shaped rocks, including the guardian of Divine Stone City, the Oriental Lion; a seal stranded at the end of a cliff with no way out; a thousand-year-old sleeping turtle; a crawling marmot; a dinosaur returning from ancient times; the head of a carp leaping over the Dragon Gate; a rooster crowing at dawn... It is truly a harmonious paradise of animal coexistence.
