The Ruins of Fanshi Ancient City is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shanxi Province.

Ruins of Fanshi Ancient City (Second Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)

Era: Han Dynasty

Location: Northeast of Chengxiang Village, Zhenziliang Township, Ying County

The site is rectangular in shape, measuring 1,120 meters in length and 120 meters in width. The remaining sections of the city wall stand 0.5 to 2 meters high. A 1958 survey found exposed relics on the ground including bronze arrowheads and fragments of pottery dou (food vessels) and pottery jars. The pottery features rope-patterned designs. The site has not been excavated.
