The Site of Da’an Temple is a cultural heritage protection site of Shuozhou City.

The Site of Da’an Temple is located south of Dongcuizhuang Village, Nanhézhong Town, Ying County, dating back from the Yuan Dynasty to the Republican era.

On March 21, 2011, the Site of Da’an Temple was designated as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Shuozhou City.

Nanhézhong Town: Nanhézhong Town is situated at the foot of the renowned Yingshan Mountain in Ying County, on the alluvial fans of Xiaoshiyu and Ruyueyu valleys. The town governs 26 administrative villages with a population of 36,000, and has 110,000 mu of arable land. The area features a mix of mountains and plains, fertile soil, and abundant resources, making it a typical agricultural economic region. In recent years, the town’s Party committee and government have focused on development as a top priority.
