Guangying Granary

Guangying Granary is a cultural heritage protection unit in Shuozhou City.

Guangying Granary is located in Xiguan Village, Jincheng Town, Ying County, and dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On March 21, 2011, Guangying Granary was designated as one of the first municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Shuozhou City.

Jincheng Town: Jincheng Town in Ying County is situated at the southern end of the Datong Basin, just outside the Yanmen Pass, and lies at the foot of the world-famous Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. It serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of the county, as well as the birthplace of Liao and Jin culture. Three major highways — Dashí, Yingliang, and Shuowei — run through the town. To the south lies Mount Wutai, a global Buddhist sacred site; to the east is the Hanging Temple at Mount Hengshan, one of the Five Great Mountains; to the north is the Yungang Grottoes near Datong, the coal capital; and to the west is the Pingshuo Open-pit Coal Mine, the largest of its kind in China.
