Qiman Lake Leisure Resort is located within Tuoyipu Town, 30 kilometers from the city center, covering a total area of 45,000 mu.

The scenic area features the lake as its main attraction, centered around an island in the middle of the lake, complemented by surrounding sand dunes, reeds, populus euphratica forests, and aquatic plants to create a Jiangnan-like landscape in the frontier region.

Qiman Lake is abundant with reeds, beneath which swim various fish species famous in Xinjiang, such as the dog-headed fish, crucian carp, Wuchang bream, carp, and grass carp. There are small islands in the lake, and to the south lies a vast wetland of tens of thousands of acres covered with lush tamarisk, reeds, and calamus. The lake and the wetland are separated by a dike, and the wetland is home to a large number of rare bird species, including wild ducks, mandarin ducks, brown-headed gulls, fish gulls, pelicans, geese, swans, black storks, and cormorants—totaling over a hundred varieties. To the south of the wetland lies a large expanse of populus euphratica forest, and in the northeastern corner of the lake there is a sand ridge. The entire Qiman Lake scenery is tranquil and picturesque.
