The Populus Euphratica Forest Nature Park is the most representative tourist destination among the 2.4 million mu of natural Populus Euphratica forests in Shaya County.

The Populus Euphratica Forest Nature Park is located northwest of the township government seat of Nurbak Township in Shaya County, about 16 kilometers from the county town.

The Populus Euphratica Forest Nature Park is named after its uniquely shaped, robust and towering Populus Euphratica trees. The forest covers a total area of 1,037 mu, stretching 1,050 meters from north to south and 652 meters from east to west, distributed in a rectangular shape.

The Populus Euphratica Forest Nature Park features a comprehensive landscape with Xinjiang-characteristic vegetation, Populus Euphratica forests, deserts, and oases. The entire forest is naturally ancient and remains in its pristine state, with exceptionally vigorous growth and dense coverage that is quite rare. Scattered throughout the forest are yurts, while along the winding paths there are exquisitely crafted fiberglass animals such as lions, deer, and swans that look strikingly lifelike. To the east of the forest lies a desert scenic area of about 500 mu, which from afar resembles a miniature version of the Taklamakan Desert. It also serves as a unique venue for sand sculpture, beach volleyball, sand sliding, sand therapy, and other desert-based sports activities.
