Strange Trees Garden
Introduction: Traveling north from Aksu and passing through Wensu County, continue northwest for 60 kilometers through a vast expanse of Gobi Desert to discover a small, undulating oasis. This small oasis is not situated in a low-lying area but rather on gently sloping hills, at an altitude of about 1,700 meters, covering an area of just 0.4 square kilometers. Yet, it is lush and green, covered with dense shade, with murmuring streams and butterflies and bees fluttering about — truly a paradise on earth. Locals call it the “Strange Trees Garden.”
