Kongur Tagh II

Kongur Tagh II is located in Subashi Village, Bulunkou Township, Aketao County, Kizilsu Kirghiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is the second highest peak of the West Kunlun Mountains. With snow covering its summit year-round, resembling the hat worn by local herders, the mountain is referred to by local herders as "Kongur Tagh II," meaning "white hat"; because it is slightly lower than Kongur Tagh, some also call it "Little Kongur." However, its mountainous terrain is by no means inferior to that of Kongur Tagh. Its northern slope features steep cliffs, while its southern slope consists of complex icy and snowy terrain. It is also formed by four main ridges: the northwest ridge, east ridge, southwest ridge, and north ridge.
