Thirty-Two Great Wall is a cultural heritage site protected by Shanxi Province.

Thirty-Two Great Wall is located on Hualin Mountain, about ten kilometers southwest of Youwei Town, Youyu County, Shanxi Province. It is named after the nearby Thirty-Two Village, which is named after the 32nd watchtower of the Ming Great Wall as it enters Youyu. As part of the Ming Great Wall, this section retains relatively intact walls and beacon towers and is one of the best viewing spots for the Ming Great Wall ruins in Shanxi.

Youwei Town: Located in the northwest of Youyu County, about 25 kilometers from the county seat, Youwei Town borders Helinge’er County of Inner Mongolia to the north. It was once the site of the Shuoping Prefecture government and the seat of Youyu County People’s Government, and is now one of the four major incorporated towns in Youyu County, serving as the northern gateway of Shanxi Province. The town administers 37 administrative villages and 50 natural villages, with a total population of 13,763, including 11,570 agricultural residents. The total land area of the town is 376,800 mu, including 75,300 mu of arable land, and the forest coverage rate is 37%.
