Dolang Cultural Park. Situated on the west side of the county center of Makit and by the picturesque Yarkant River, the park spans a planned area of 1,800 acres. The design of the scenic area is inspired by the themes of “peace, harmony between humans and nature, and Dolang cultural creativity,” and is divided into four functional zones: the Dolang Culture Zone, the National Flower and Tree Zone, the Academicians’ Forum Zone, and the Native Populus Euphratica Forest Zone. With the theme of promoting “Dolang culture,” the park integrates elements such as the “Dolang cultural industry,” “Dolang tourism industry,” as well as cultural features like Dolang Muqam and Dolang Mashrap, providing visitors with a destination for travel, vacation, leisure, education, and cultural entertainment. It serves as an important hub for tourism in Makit.
