Qiaojiawan Site

The Qiaojiawan Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Qiaojiawan Site is located approximately 200 meters south of Qiaojiawan in Lan Yi Town, Kelan County. It spans about 600 meters from east to west and 500 meters from north to south, covering a total area of around 300,000 square meters. The site is situated on a terrace on the southern bank at the confluence of the Lan Yi River and a seasonal stream. The terrain is higher in the south and lower in the north, featuring a terraced landscape. In May 2009, an excavation area of 3,500 square meters revealed three horizontal-style house remains, two with white lime walls and white lime-paved floors, as well as artifacts including gray pottery shards—both fine clay and sandy clay—decorated with rope patterns and basket weaves. Identifiable vessel shapes include tripods, small cups, double-handled jars, and egg-shaped three-legged vessels. These findings belong to the Neolithic Age cultural remains.
