Wulong Temple in Fanshi

Wulong Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Wulong Temple is located in Zhaojiayu Village, Xiaruyue Township, Fanshi County. It faces south and measures 31.8 meters from north to south and 17.7 meters from east to west, covering an area of 563 square meters. The exact date of its construction is unknown. Among the existing structures, only the East Hall dates back to the Ming Dynasty, while the rest were built during the Qing Dynasty. The temple follows a single-courtyard layout, with a theater stage and the main hall situated along the central axis in sequence. On the east side is the East Hall, and on the west side are newly built wing rooms and the mountain gate. The East Hall has three bays in width and three rafters in depth, featuring a four-rafter front-porch structure and a single-eave hip-and-gable roof. The front eaves’ middle and side bays are fitted with lattice doors. The temple also houses two steles commemorating donations, dating from the first year of the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty (1796).
