Qiuyue Temple in Fanshi County

Qiuyue Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Fanshi County.

Qiuyue Temple is situated in Qicheng Village, Daying Town, Fanshi County. It faces south, spans 62.2 meters from north to south and 52 meters from east to west, with a total area of 3,224 square meters. Originally constructed in the Tang Dynasty, the current buildings were built during the Qing Dynasty. The temple has a two-courtyard layout, with a theatrical stage, an entrance hall, and the main hall arranged along the central axis, and side halls and auxiliary rooms on the east and west sides. The theatrical stage and entrance hall are newly built. The main hall is three bays wide and five rafters deep, featuring a six-rafter front-veranda structure with a single-eave flush-gable roof. The front eaves have four-panel six-leaf lattice doors on the middle and side bays. On April 15, 1985, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage site by the People’s Government of Fanshi County.
