Zhou Yujie’s Family Residence is located at Dayucheng Courtyard, Renmin Avenue, Chengnei Subdistrict Office, Ningwu County. It faces south. The residence covers an area of approximately 274 square meters. The existing main house has a width of five bays (20.2 meters) and a depth of three bays (13.6 meters), with a flush-gable roof. There is also an embroidery tower, which is three bays wide and deep (6 meters each), also featuring a flush-gable roof. The current structures date back to the Qing Dynasty. Zhou Yujie was the Commandant of the Three Passes during the Ming Dynasty. In the 17th year of the Chongzhen reign (1644), when the peasant rebellion army led by Li Zicheng marched north from Taiyuan, Zhou Yujie led troops to relieve Xinzhou but was defeated at Ningwu Pass.
