Dayagouwan Grottoes

The Dayagouwan Grottoes is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Dayagouwan Grottoes are located in the middle section of the cliffs at Dayagouwan Mountain, about 2.5 kilometers west of Miaozhuang Village, Hesuo Township, Xinfu District. They face south and have an area of 10 square meters. There is currently one surviving grotto, which is 1.15 meters high, 0.75 meters wide, and 0.9 meters deep. Inside the grotto, there are carvings of 84 Buddha statues, 2 lions, and 4 flying apsaras, while outside the grotto there are carvings of 22 Buddha statues. Miaozhuang Village: Miaozhuang is located 20 kilometers west of Xinzhou City, situated in a hilly and mountainous terrain. The village has a population of 720 people and includes both arable land for production and forested areas suitable for growing grain crops such as corn, sweet potatoes, sorghum, soybeans, and millet.
