Xinzhou Yuqing Taoist Temple

The Xinzhou Yuqing Taoist Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Xinzhou City.

The Yuqing Taoist Temple is located about 1,000 meters west of Guanli Village, Sanjiao Town, Xinfu District. Facing south with its back to the north, it covers an area of approximately 360 square meters. According to the stone tablet in the temple, it was built in the second year of the Yuanshi era during the Yuan Dynasty (1336), and underwent renovations during the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty (1403–1424), the 16th year of the Hongzhi era (1503), and the 38th year of the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty (1699). The existing main hall and the east and west side halls are Qing Dynasty structures. The main hall is three bays wide and three rafters deep, with a single-eave hanging gable roof. The east and west side halls are single buildings. There are seven stone tablets from the Ming, Qing, and Republican periods located in the courtyard. On June 6, 2007, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Xinzhou City.
